During a call with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen we condemned today's missile attacks by Russia. We welcomed the new package of EU sanctions and agreed on further pressure on the aggressor. We also discussed in detail Ukraine's progress in implementing the recommendations of the European Commission to start negotiations on Ukraine's accession this year.

Під час зустрічі обговорили шляхи поглиблення взаємодії між державою та представниками культурної сфери. Важливо продовжувати культурну, просвітницьку роботу, яка сприяла б посиленню підтримки України з боку наших партнерів і всього світу. Запропонував напрацювати рекомендації та необхідні кроки, які мають бути підтримані з боку держави.

Дякую всім митцям, хто допомагає тут, хто в окопах віддає своє життя цьому. А також всім тим, хто за кордоном допомагав дипломатії та журналістиці створювати хвилю підтримки, щоб Україна не була на самоті.

On the 209th anniversary of the birth of the Ukrainian writer, artist and thinker Taras Shevchenko, I met with cultural and artistic figures.

During the meeting, we discussed ways to deepen cooperation between the state and representatives of the cultural sphere. It is important to continue cultural and educational work that would help strengthen support for Ukraine from our partners and the world. I proposed to develop recommendations and necessary steps that should be backed by the state.

I am grateful to all the artists who are helping here, who are in the trenches giving their lives to this cause. And also to all those who helped diplomacy and journalism abroad to create a wave of support so that Ukraine would not be alone.

Чергове намагання держави-терориста воювати проти цивілізованості призвело до тимчасових відключень електрики, тепла та води в деяких наших регіонах і містах.

Найскладніше – Харків, Житомирщина. Непросто в Одесі, у Дніпропетровській області, у Києві, у Запоріжжі. Ремонтні бригади, енергетики, місцева влада, центральна влада – усі працюватимуть стільки, скільки треба, щоб відновити подачу енергії містам і районам, де зараз проблеми. Я дякую всім, хто працює заради цього.

Ми вже показали, на що здатна Україна. І скільки б Росія не робила підлостей, наша держава і народ усе одно не будуть у кайданах. Ані ракети, ані звірства Росії в цьому не допоможуть.

Я хочу подякувати сьогодні всім воїнам наших Повітряних сил. А особливо – 138-й Дніпровській, 160-й Одеській і 208-й Херсонській зенітним ракетним бригадам, які відзначились у захисті від цього російського нальоту. Дякую вам, воїни!

Дякую й усім у світі, хто усвідомлює, наскільки важливо дати повний захист українському небу, і всім, хто готовий нам допомагати в гарантуванні нормального життя людей.

Слава всім, хто зараз у бою за Україну! Бахмут, Авдіївка, Купʼянськ, Лиман і весь Донбас! Наше Запоріжжя, Нікополь, Херсонщина! Слава всім, хто захищає наші Суми, нашу Чернігівщину, нашу Харківщину, усі наші міста й громади і наш кордон! Слава кожному українському воїну, чия сміливість – це життя України! Вічна і світла памʼять усім, кого в нас забрала ця війна і Росія! Немає іншого вибору, ніж перемогти.

Another attempt by the terrorist state to wage war against civilization has led to temporary power, heat and water outages in some of our regions and cities.
Kharkiv and the Zhytomyr region have the most difficult situation. Odesa, the Dnipropetrovsk region, Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia are also facing difficulties. Repair crews, power engineers, local authorities and the central government will work for as long as necessary to restore power supply to the cities and districts where there are problems. I thank everyone who is working for this.
We have already shown what Ukraine is capable of. And no matter how treacherous Russia’s actions are, our state and people will not be in chains. Neither missiles nor Russian atrocities will help them.

I want to thank all the warriors of our Air Forces today. And especially the 138th Dnipro, 160th Odesa and 208th Kherson anti-aircraft missile brigades, which distinguished themselves in the defense against this Russian attack. Thank you, warriors!

I am also grateful to everyone in the world who realizes how important it is to give full protection to the Ukrainian sky, and to everyone who is ready to help us guarantee normal life for people.

Glory to all those who are now fighting for Ukraine! Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Kupyansk, Lyman and the entire Donbas! Our Zaporizhzhia, Nikopol, Kherson region! Glory to all those who are defending our Sumy, our Chernihiv region, our Kharkiv region, all our cities and communities, and our border! Провів зустріч із міністром оборони Норвегії Бйорном Арільдом Грамом. Норвегія підтримує Україну з першого дня повномасштабної війни і зробила дуже багато для наших солдат, для того, щоб вони були сильними на полі бою. Ми це цінуємо.

Наш ключовий пріоритет незмінний: посилення Збройних Сил. Як нарощування поставок зброї, так і пришвидшення отримання вже оголошеної допомоги.

I had a meeting with Minister of Defense of Norway Bjørn Arild Gram. Norway has been supporting Ukraine since the first day of the full-scale war and has done a lot for our soldiers to become stronger on the battlefield. We appreciate it.

Our key priority remains the strengthening of the Armed Forces. Both by increasing the supply of weapons and accelerating the delivery of the already announced assistance.

I thank the Government, the Parliament and all the people of Norway for their comprehensive assistance to Ukraine and our people.

Щойно закінчилося засідання Ставки. Головнокомандувач, командувачі напрямків доповідали щодо ситуації на передовій, загалом у захисті держави. Схід та південь, кордон. Бахмут і наші можливості посилитися там. Наші відповіді на удари терористів. Захист Херсона та громад Дніпропетровщини, Чернігівщини, Сумщини. Наші потреби в боєприпасах і постачання.

Хочу сьогодні особливо відзначити наших бійців, які захищають Україну на Донеччині. Щодня вони дають вагомі підстави для подяки, дають вагомі результати для України. Морпіхи 35-ї та 36-ї окремих бригад морської піхоти, 55-та окрема артилерійська бригада, десантники «Сімдесятдевʼятки»... Дякую вам, воїни! І окремо хочу подякувати бійцям спецпідрозділу ГУР МО «Шаман» – за Бахмут, за міцну участь в обороні міста.

Українці сильні, коли дбають одне про одного. Українці вільні, коли захищаються.

Щодня ми втрачаємо українських синів і доньок у війні, яку Україна не починала. Людей, які могли б бути митцями чи політиками, підприємцями чи журналістами, науковцями чи дипломатами. Ким завгодно, але – живими! Якби не Росія.

Це відверта війна тиранії проти свободи. В основі цієї російської війни – ненависть і бажання пограбувати сусідню націю. Поки окупант на нашій землі, поки нашим містам загрожує руйнація, поки життя та свобода мільйонів українців під загрозою, ми повинні продовжувати цю битву. І ми – вистоїмо. Я знаю, що ми вистоїмо. Разом із вами.

Має перемогти право чоловіків і жінок бути щасливими й жити своїм життям. Має перемогти священність родини, а не якоїсь тиранічної імперії, можливість давати майбутнє дітям, а не якійсь загарбницькій доктрині. Свобода має перемогти.

Сказав про це під час звернення до учасників American Enterprise Institute World Forum, серед яких були присутні сенатори, губернатори, колишні Віце-президенти США та представники експертної спільноти.

The meeting of the Staff of Supreme Commander-in-Chief has just ended. The commander-in-chief, commanders of the task forces reported on the situation on the front line, generally in the defense of the state. East and south, border. Це більше 280 компаній і 120 людей, які через схеми з гральним бізнесом працювали проти України, виводили кошти з нашої держави та фінансували різні російські комбінації.

Рішення готувалося певний час, воно ґрунтовно пропрацьовано і закриває схеми на десятки мільярдів. І це не останнє таке рішення. Україна захищатиметься всюди і всіма цивілізованими засобами.

These are more than 280 companies and 120 people who, through gambling business schemes, worked against Ukraine, withdrew funds from our state and financed various Russian schemes.

It took some time to prepare the decision. It has been thoroughly worked out and closes schemes worth tens of billions. And it is not the last such decision. Ukraine will defend itself everywhere and by all civilized means.
